WET

Just outside the front door. There are lots of buds still to open, the most it's ever had.

There could have been another blip. Just as I'd uploaded this from the camera, there was a prolonged and terrible fuss outside the house and I went out to find that two magpies had cornered a terrified cat underneath a car and were hopping about in front of it screaming all sorts of insults and abuse. I tried, but it was too dark for photos. I chased off the birds and the cat bolted down the street, with the magpies in hot pursuit. I wonder whatever it had done to upset them.
