Life Beach Blah blah blah

Up early to get Smallest to his 8.30 swimming lesson. Heidi took the others and met me at home with a plunger to clear the toilet. It didn't work. I got chick crumb for the FOUR newly hatched chicks!

Back to Swanpool to meet 'D' for coffee. We had a picnic for lunch, Heidi and I swam, the kids did their thing, we barbecued sausages for tea and came home slightly pink and weary.

As the children 'chilled', I rodded the drains, jetted the drains and finally prodded the blockage from inside, clearing the shit soup at long last.

MrRoly is home and we've done chick watch. No5 was part hatched when we got back from the beach, he (we think) was still only half hatched just now (4 hours later). This is not good. We've freed him but are not optimistic about his chances.

There were many photos today that I liked, Bella won't like the extra I picked but it is so unusual to get a photo of her smiling naturally, I had to add it.
