Granny's Bonnet

I have always loved this little flower. My Dad always had aquilegia growing in his garden and they were some of the first plants that I sneaked out of his borders and planted in my own garden. They have a very intricate structure and would make for a very fancy bonnet indeed!

Our street party at school went really well. All the children rose to the occasion and managed to accommodate the big change in routine. The fun continued with a disco followed by a diamond hunt in the grounds.

No house news yet as everything seems to be closed today. I've started collecting boxes so I'll have to go somewhere!
