Far from the Madding Crowd

Great film.. I just got back from a late afternoon showing. I think it must be about to leave the cinema so was delighted to catch it.  It always feels a bit strange walking out of the cinema and finding shops still open but thank goodness they were as I hadn't bought anything for supper!!!  
I left the film thinking how much more fun it would have been to study this book for my O levels rather than the Mayor of Casterbridge which left me cold!!  
Luckily I didn't miss this tulip either.. I have been enjoying it but I think the wind and the threat of a cold night might see it losing its petals tonight.
