A possible reject...

... from the Village People, this street performer was entertaining the crowds in the centre of York today.

As I arrived and took the shot, he looked like he was about to stamp on the bald head of his assistant,  but that assistant was actually going to set fire to some wadding under the scaffolding, after the obligatory banter went on for a while longer.

The banter included asking the audience to put their hand in their pockets for some money for when the hat went round. I did enjoy the line 'take out some money, then fold it...'

Like me, many of the audience got ready to move away.
