Exploring Bandung

In between doing some work from my hotel room, I walked around exploring the streets and local food. I tried 'batagor' (which is an abbreviation of 'bakso tahu goreng') and 'siomay', both fish dumplings. I went to 'Batagor Kingsley' which is a little more expensive (each piece is 60p) but it's quite a famous place with queues all day. They were surprisingly filling so I'm glad I only got two of each. I finished it off with durian ice cream (with whole bits of fresh durian in there). Yum!

In the evening I went to the cinema to see the new Mad Max film and then wandered around Chinatown, seeing this big 'Bandung' sign along the way.
