When the going gets weird

People Watchers

Took myself off early to explore the labyrinthian Cemetery,  Pere Lachaise. Last resting place to Edif Piaf, Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde to name just some of the more pop culture figures buried there. It's a huge and very impressive, although I wish I could have caught it on a misty day.

All the walking was starting to catch up with me, so I headed back to the hotel to rest the legs and spent some time editing. Entry to the photography museum was free on Wednesday evenings, so I went back with some classmates for a second look. Harry Gruyaert was actually there signing books, so I decided to scrap getting the book on Amazon when I got home and joined the queue for a signed copy.

For dinner we returned to mob handed to the Tapas place we'd scouted over the weekend. Seriously brilliant calamaris. Then it was back to the Rue de Lappe.
