We are Family.

Sometimes a special occasion comes along that ends up being way more special than you anticipate. The wedding of my elder brother, Michael to lovely Emma today was such an occasion. It was a fabulous day, the wedding was meticulously planned, the weather cooperated. Family all had had a great time in each other's company. This photograph contains the whole of Katie's family on my dad's side, bar 2 of her small cousins. That is, it's all 6 of my dad's children and families with my aunt's children and families. The day was wonderful. We had some very special time with cousins we don't see enough of. I had beautiful snuggles with my little niece, in her beautiful bridesmaid dress. We had dancing, meals, lots of laughter, lots of fun. A really special day. Katie kept going and going and going. Until 10.30pm when she fell asleep in my arms in the middle of a live acoustic music set, playing very loud. She said the next day that her favourite bit was dancing the twist with her cousins.
