Billingham Boys

This statue is always Billingham Town Centre for me.

Popped in this morning for a few chores.

The statue has been there since 1967, unveiled by the Queen and Philip. I think to commemorate  the completion of the Town Centre.

It's been re-jigged over the last few year; but unfortunately there is still a lot of tumbleweed blowing between the empty shops.

The new Weatherspoon pub looks good; but 10.30 was a bit earlier and the boys didn't want a beer ;)

No Dementors today, but this feels a bit more like The Day The Earth Stood Still.
