Last of the patriots

Last day of the four day Jubilee celebration in Abingdon.

The town council have really done us proud. After the soggy Sunday bun throwing, they provided big screens in the Abbey Gardens on Monday (for the fantastic Jubilee concert outside Buckingham Palace) and this Tuesday morning for the 10.30am service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral.

I watched the service at home on TV but made a quick diversion to the park later - en route to the supermarket. There were still a few stalwarts there at 12.15 as I pushed my bike through the park.
