Fun in the Sun!

After all the cold, wet and wintery weather yesterday it was lovely to wake up to sunshine, bright blue skies and not a breathe of wind. Bolted down my breakfast and headed straight off to the beach! Not a soul in sight, and it was wonderful.

Because of all the gales over the last few days there was lots of seaweed and debris washed up, and also two dead seals. Not quite so wonderful.

Ollie had a great time - dashing in and out of the surf and chasing up and down the sand. I love this shot of him, he looks so silly and full of fun - he fills my life with joy!

Came home and made my Christmas cake - so as well as my life being full of joy, my house is full of lovely smells! It's got to be a good cake as my sister is going to come up and share it with me! Yippee!
