Suddenly, in my window ...

...I noticed this enormous cruise ship sailing sedately down the Clyde. Unlike the Queen Mary II, here a couple of days ago, this one was of the floating office-block variety and not nearly so elegant. It dwarfed everything in sight - the two Western Ferries boats which are just out of shot behind it looked more like toys than seaworthy car ferries.

We're getting many more visits from cruise ships these days - they're a great boost to the local economy.
