Time Travel Tower

I had to pull over on the way back from Burnham-on-Crouch after a meeting to make a phone call. This is Clayhill vineyard on the south-facing slopes looking over the Crouch. Canewdon church tower, home to Danish paganism, Arabic mysticism, Christian heresy and French witchcraft, is on the skyline.

Reputed to be one of the most haunted places in the UK, it is said that if you run round the church three times in an anti-clockwise direction on Halloween you will travel backwards in time. :)
