Alliums

On the left a wild allium, Allium vineale, which grows all over the place, in waste places, roadsides and what have you. Another introduction that has adapted too well, unfortunately. On the right, a cultivar, Allium moly, a cheerful addition to any garden.

A much better day today but things are still wet. B is mowing, but I don't know how much he will manage. We still have rain in the forecast after half an inch last night. But the poor folks in Texas and Oklahoma are really getting hit with flooding. It has certainly broken the drought in Texas.
