Improbable

Herons always make such a fuss of that taking off thing, it's surprising they ever make it into the air. Mind you, a pug on the opposite bank of the river preparing to dive gives added incentive.

Later there was work to be done and when it was done there was a bike ride to be enjoyed along the old railway tracks. Unfortunately I left the house for a bike ride just before Scobes turned up to see if I fancied a bike ride. That's spontaneity for you.
