A Buttercup Meadow.
It seems to have turned cooler, so when we did have some sun this afternoon I wandered down to the Red House Nature Reserve that sits beside the Montgomeryshire Canal. This field is part of the Reserve, but is let to the RSPB for grazing sheep. It looks beautiful at the moment- alittle later hopefully there will be Yellow Rattle flowering there too. Usually a great place for butterflies, today I saw just two Orange Tips Butterflies. Derek the weather (TV) has promised that the weather will become warmer towards June- he was smiling as he forecasted it - so maybe it was a joke.
