Animal-free blip!
The most dramatic thing I have seen today is the sun on the gorse.
Strange to say someone DID want to know the difference between a Golden Guernsey and a British Guernsey goat. Here is what the Golden Guernsey Breed Society says:" The British Guernsey (BG) is a Golden Guernsey (GG) type goat which is obtained by specific stages of breeding at the end of which the goat will be 7/8th GG."
In order to be a GG both parents must be registered in that section of the Herd Book.
I don't know which of the goats in the picture is the BG but it is not necessarily the one which looks most different!
The British Goat Society Herd Book is quite a complex thing and two goats can easily look very similar to each other but be in different sections of the Herd Book.
