Gravedona

The sun is shining today so we decide to make a short drive up the lake to Gravedona, this is about 16 Kms in northerly direction, though a bit longer in my case as I managed to take a wrong turn. We stopped here for lunch and an ice cream. Of course the ice cream was not quite as good as those I get in Lenno.

Plenty of car parking space which is something with remembering. As well as lunch we had a walk along the promenade and admired the yachts. As it is a weekday there are not many yachts out on the lake, and not many ferries make it this far north.

Slightly different feel to the town as most of the tourists, who seemed to be relatively few, are German, rather than the greater mix of nationalities in the central lake area.

Managed to make the return journey without any unintended diversions, though I did have the Satnav turned on.
