Kale

Had a wee walk round the garden. Not had a chance to do much out there in the last few weeks, what with weather and visitors and holidays.

Some things are past and turned to mush, like the stalks of the courgettes.

Some are just dozing underground waiting to be dug up and eaten. We don't get a lot of ground frost so I tend to just leave carrots etc in the ground rather than digging them up to store.

Others like this lovely Curly Kale are romping away and looking lush and green in the sunshine.
