New rower???

Tatum’s first time trying out rowing with Nanna…..she had just done the ergometer week in gym at school ( part of the 6th grade curriculum in all Seattle middle schools) and her best friend is on a rowing team so she was a little bit interested.   We asked her how it was different on the water than on the rowing machine and her answer “it’s better!” Is encouraging!    We’ll see….

The other extra picture is kayaking with Mom, the prelude to getting in the rowing boat today.  And the other yummy achievement of the day was a gooey chocolate cake the girls made.
