Winter meets Autumn

It is a very cold day, with the temperature getting up to +5.  We have to be very careful walking on the icy footpaths, let's hope for a quick thaw.  I have cleared the snow away from both my front and back doors, and have plenty of firewood at the ready.  I took this photo down at the lake front, where the autumn leaves are still on the willow trees.  Not many people about, they must be sitting in front of their fires.
