Ponding

We are at my parents' home for the weekend.  They live across the lake from a State Park. This afternoon we went on a nature walk to go "ponding" as the naturalist called it.  The kids were given small nets and cups to search for tiny creatures in a small pond.  They had a blast bringing their catches to her and identify what they had by using her charts.  The naturalist is the sister of a friend of Don's so we wanted to go meet her. 
Later in the day I went canoeing with my son-in-law and this evening went into New London to check out the Goat Ridge Brewery.
