Staple Island

Set off at 8.30am up to Seahouses to catch Billy Shiel's boat over to Staple Island (one of the Farne islands in Northumberland). Fantastic crossing with plenty of opportunity to photograph young seals and puffins in flight. Once we had landed on Staple Island, it was a bird lovers paradise! I must have took about 500 photos of the puffins so it was difficult to choose my favourite. I chose this one in the end......
This evening my friend came over for our first BBQ of 2015. Its been a lovely bank holiday weekend :)
