On my run

Not everyone had a holiday here today but I did so I decided to go for a longish run. Those who might have come with me were working so I made up the route as I went along and ended up doing about 10 miles with 100yds or so on tarmac.
It was a lovely morning for a run, though a bit breezy and it was against me on the way out (fortunately a lot was sheltered). A lot was on an old railway line (slightly uphill all the way out) but I took detours through the wood in the pic in both directions.
In the afternoon I did some gardening and then fed and put the grandsons to bed whilst their mum and Mr Rat went out running with the club.
Pity I have to work tomorrow.
