Ragged Robin

What a fantastic few days. Son#1 arrived in good form bringing the fine weather with him. We've done tons of walking, been treated to home made curries, lounged around in the garden, and watched films at the Schull short film festival. The highlight had to be the discovery of the utterly awesome Glaninchiquin ( see back blip). What a life.
A delicious meal with with friends last night overlooking Roaringwater Bay, still warm enough to sit out and admire the view. There was still light in the sky when we arrived home at 10.45. Lunch with them today in the Heron Gallery - accompanied by Devron and Frank, two delightful Canadians from Vancouver Island who are doing the west coast of Ireland, then heading over to England, and then on to Berlin before returning home.
I had to stop to blip this clump of ragged robins looking so pink against the blue sky. I have to say the water is looking most inviting and a paddle confirms that it won't be long before swimming ensues!
