Busy Bumble

Reasonably early start for a Bank Holiday and went to Tring for a lovely walk with Ted.

This worker bumble bee was feasting on our Cotoneaster, all the bees seem to love this shrub.


In the afternoon we took Mum to Chenies Manor for a look round the House, Garden and Church.  Gardens were beautiful.  

On our way back we called in at Amersham to see how the Trees we planted for Dad were doing, sadly one of the 3 had disappeared, the Oak was only just surviving but the Beech is thriving.

Home for evening meal and chat, nice finish to the long weekend
