A helping hand
Plan A was to go fell walking but being a fair weather hiker and poor conditions put paid to that.
So Plan B was walk down to see the carved hands at Brandelhow on the shores of Derwent water. The hands were created to celebrate the centenary of the National Trust. I really like the inscription in the stone at the base which says " forever for everyone".
A nice stroll with lovely views, just proves don't always have to go high to enjoy the views.
