Cloud cruising

A non-taskable day 3 of the competition owing this time to a low cloudbase above the hill - too little to safely do anything with regards going across country.  It was however very flyable locally at Wether Fell  and great fun to play around with base at 2500' AMSL - at times lowering to 2300' AMSL in parts.  There was also some possible wave action occurring early on allowing some cruising out into the valley.

Landed after a relatively short flight, accelerated by testing out a new glove combination for warmth.  It didn't work.  I do now have a plan however.

Coffee and scones in the afternoon as the sun broke through, followed by a walk to Aysgill Force to feel healthy about it.  Competition meal this the evening and we should task tomorrow.
