Revealing the layers

The trouble with hard core carpentry is that your house is encased in plastic so there is little you can do. When the bathroom was being fixed I had to go to Notting Hill to use the toilet.

With more carpentry next week and painting looming I started to clear out my bedroom and uncovering different strata of clothing, old magazines and a lot of footwear. This is a billboard I spotted on Ladbroke Grove but it sums it all up.

So today has been a cycle of Oxfam, Brent Recycling Centre and B&Q. 

This will be a pattern for some weeks to come.
