Life in the fast lane...

...well, maybe not!

Went on a horse-drawn barge today with  Sheenagh and the photography group. Nice to meet ByTheWay  and see some familiar faces. Particularly enjoyed the cream tea :)

After the trip, which was gentle, relaxing and very pretty, some of us went for a coffee and a wander. We went back to the river and tried photographing mini-beasts. My macro lens is just on loan to me so I was practising using it and was quite pleased with this photo.

Having spent a lifetime trying to avoid bugs, there was I trying to find them! Fascinating up close!

We stayed until it was impossible to hold a camera still any more!
