Diamond Jubilee Balloon Release

Despite being less than two hours from the centre of London by train, we didn't fancy hiking up there to watch the Jubilee festivities. Judging by the news highlights, it was a pretty long day, and a damp one as well. So, we headed down to Gunwharf to see what was on offer there. We had gone to Portsmouth Guildhall to see what was going on there, but being a numpty, I led left the memory card in the computer from a previous upload.

Today, I remembered the card and managed to get a few shots around Gunwharf, including this one of the balloons being released into the sky. For a £2 donation to a nearby childrens hospice, the balloon that travels the furthest wins a prize.
