A day in the Forest

Went to visit our daughter, Johanna (pronounced as Yohanna), and her partner Luke today. They live in Cinderford, Forest of Dean. 
This forest is across the road from them and I've added two additional photos. One of the dogs walking along a forest path and one taken from their patio door so you can see the back view from their house.
Luke, his Father and Johanna are building a new retaining wall and the blocks will be faced with the natural rock they've excavated during the digging back. 
It's ok, they really know what they are doing, the forest isn't going to fall in on them. Beneath that surface of soil it's sedimentary rock.
