Melanoma

So my follow up was today.

It WAS a melanoma. Fortunately it was superficial and so classed as stage 1. Its not quite the best (A) as they saw a cell dividing (if they are one, there are loads more) so its a 1b. Still a good prognosis.

It was 0.8mm deep so hasn't spread thank goodness. They've taken another cm away from where the mole was so no running for a month+

But they've got it all. And there are no others. Phew! I'm to be checked every 3 months for 3 years and every 6 mo for another 2.

Hugely relieved. Though I don't know if having a cancer diagnosis has quite hit me yet.
