Lighting the Beacons

Tonight I met up with a few of my old school friend for a catch up and to go to the lighting of the scolty hill beacon. We walked up early before the sunset and caught this gorgeous sunset over the hills of Aberdeenshire. It was a great night for catching up and the beacon was great.

Due to the beacon being lit on the hill and you could see other beacons being lit around other areas, the phrase "the beacons of Gondor are lit!" came up quite a few times :)
