First Of The Year

Ever since she left home, katkatkat has lived in various 3rd-floor flats so when she is home she loves to have a barbecue.

Today the four of us had been busy,The Man and I had been to clean the holiday lodge and cut the grass while Kat & G had done holiday washing, shopped and tidied our garden.

To say tidied our garden is such an understatement. She had pruned, she had gathered rubbish, she had stacked pots, she had sprayed weeds........ 

So, anyhow, when we got home there was a carful of bagged up stuff to go to the local tip and a recycling bin full of garden waste! By the time I got back from the tip The Man had mowed the grass so the lawn and patio were looking great - just perfect for sitting out eating and drinking.
