Winemaker

The Yakima Valley has become well known for its quality wines and one of the reasons is the man shown here. Dr. Wade Wolfe, winemaker for Thurston Wolfe Winery in Prosser, has been at the forefront of the industry for many years. He started working in Washington State at Chateau Ste. Michelle, moved to Hogue Cellars while building his own winery in conjunction with his wife. Now he devotes all his time and considerable energy to their joint venture, which was selected as Washington State Winery of the year three years ago. I have had the privilege of working with them for over 15 years and was glad I could find time to visit them in Prosser today.
