Harvesting .... Kiwifruit
I thought I may have missed the kiwifruit being harvested but found some being plucked in the last of the sunlight for the day. Snowing on the mountains and a cold wind blowing so their sugar levels will be high and they will soon be on the way to a shop near you whether you are in NZ or somewhere else in the world.
You can see the little stalks that have had fruit on. The picker twists the fruit up and off it snaps. They can get up quite a speed and you hear a faint snap, snap, snap if you are nearby.
