Time Trades

Most of the morning was taken up by mending my car with gaffer tape (the most recognised of mechanical practices) before the spectacle of the local dog show and inter-pub tug-of-war. Unfortunately the dog show Egg and Spoon Race category was canceled due to a "lack of eggs and spoons".

We spent the night up at the local uni in the company of Jeffrey Lewis. I've seen him loads of times before, but tonight was definitely one of the best. His newer songs were brilliant, and his sketch books (now digital) as charming as ever.
