Anguis Fragilis

Or Slow Worm to you.

This did quite well on his camoflage but couldn't disguise the fact that he was  moving aross the path all be it in a determined fashion. Aparently slow worms are quite long lived, up to 30 years in the wild, however I have no idea how old this wee chap was as he was moving too quick to ask!
