Common Yellow-throat at Tualatin River NWR
I talked my hubby into going out to the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge and finally got a descent shot of the male common yellow-throat. It has such a lovely little song, WITCH-uh-tee WITCH-uh-tee... and hunts for insects and spiders in the low vegetation.
We also saw hawks, bald eagles, spotted sandpiper, killdeer, brown-headed cowbird, cinnamon teal, and some red-winged blackbirds.
