Lilac

One of my favourite plants - and this one seeded itself in our holly hedge.  The last one that did that was in the roadside hedge and was destroyed by an overenthusiastic lorry.

Eric Johnson's funeral today and who should we bump into but Tony's brother.  It's been so long such a while since we saw him that we had to look twice to be sure.  Apparently he was a member of the shoot Eric managed.
