Geranium Versicolor
A favourite and useful cranesbill which has been divided over the years and lives in several places in the garden. Here it is at the bottom of a herbaceous border and is reflected on the other side of the path. The idea is to have some white planting to cool down the colour effect before the eye moves on to the hot border.
Cool today but not rainy, so ideal for getting lots done. Planted out the Cosmos Purity and Ammi Majus. Tied in a clematis and, of course, lots and lots of weeding. Also moved 3 red hollyhocks to the back of the hot border.
