Not For The Faint Hearted

After a lazy morning I took my camera and a cup of tea down to my wild flower area, and noticed this spider had just caught a fly and was about to devour it.   My extra capture is taken ten minutes later and you can see that not much is left of the fly.
I cut the grass this afternoon, between the showers, and took some weeds up from the strawberry bed.   If all the flowers produce fruit I will be inundated with strawberries and will attempt to make some jam this year, otherwise it will be strawberries for breakfast, dinner and supper!!
