Go East!!

We met a very interesting duo on the bike trail this morning!!!   All of the children were with our daughter at her house after breakfast, so Al and I took off to do our usual 20 mile bike trip.   Even on a holiday weekend the trail was pretty empty, so when we saw the two men on the left with all their gear, we stopped to hear their story!    They started out from San Francisco on the Pacific Ocean in April, and have made it all the way to Michigan on their bicycles, with New York as their destination!!  The route meandered a LOT, and somehow brought them to the trail we were on today!

The third gentleman, heading the other way, also happened to come 
from Germany, so the three of them were comparing notes!


More grandchildren hijinks to come later tonight, but I really wanted to share 
this cross-country journey with you.
