Barras Market

It's been a fine enough day in Glasgow but a couple of showers and it's been cold :)  Got home to Shetland and cold here too!  But the sun has been out at times :)

After the late flight last night, we arrived in Glasgow.  Headed in to town this morning to get some last peerie bits of shopping done and also went to the Barras Market for a look. 
Flight was delayed but finally made it back home to Shetland at teatime and that's the holiday over now until the next time.  Back to work on Tuesday and time to start saving again :)
Off out for a few pints with friends tonight :)

It's been years since I was last at the Barras Market, probably about 10-15 years and what a huge disappointment.  I'm a sure i remember lines of stalls sells all sorts of goodies but today it felt like someone had emptied there granddad's shed of bruck on to a stall and trying to sell it.  I've dumped better things compared to what some were selling.  Maybe I was too early, or has it changed?   I still enjoyed walking about and having a look all the same :)
