The Forth Railway Bridge
Mrs D was at a jubilee event with our youngest granddaughter. So I popped out to South Queensferry to get a shot of the most blipped bridge in blipworld The Fort Railway Bridge!
The bridge was officially opened on 4 March 1890 by The Prince of Wales. At that time it was the worlds's largest steel bridge. It has recently undegone a big makeover and is looking at it's best again. In the background is the road bridge.
Mother-in-law was being seen by her doctor this afternoon so we should find out what is happening when we visit tonight.
