If I Had A Boat

Today was the Parade Navale on the lake, an annual event where all the beautiful paddle steamers on the lake come from each end of the lake, and congregate for a sort of "ballet aquatique" which was at Rolle this  year with the release of 2000 balloons.  We had lunch with friends on the Simplon boat (built in 1920)

Here you can see La Suisse (1910),  the Montreux (1904),  and the Vevey (1907). These boats are really part of the lake and great to see them still running and in such good condition.
