Slow Sunday

Peaceful slow and long Sunday morning with lenghty breakfast, social media engagement, online Sunday newspapers reading and even getting some business emails off the chest. Got an sms from A, a friend currently in Helsinki who asked whether we need anything. Yes, he can! As he happended to be close to the Esplanade, he confirmed within 10 minutes the successful purchase of the Marimekko Felia dress even in the right size. Made P's day!

Sun came out as promised early afternoon and we went for a long > 10 km run high above the lake of Zurich through open fields and the fotest. Perfect weather, plenty of time at hand, even to stop now and then to take a picture. The blip is high above Meilen looking south across the lake.

Pampering body and soul with Jazz music and honeybush tea with fresh pineapples all afternoon.

BBQ planned for tonight with T-bone steaks the butcher had hung for 5 weeks and roasted peppers and onions for the colour. The wine, a magnum Gigondas from 2009 is already open and breathing. Such Sunday evenings before a bank holiday on Monday are just great.
