Bluebell Cemetery
After church, I headed off to a cemetery opposite the hospital, or rather, opposite where the Workhouse used to be. This is one of the older cemeteries in the city. Many of those from the workhouse wouldn't have had marked graves, but there are plenty of dignitaries who did. Strangely enough, this one is a more recent grave - 1931. The cemetery was covered in bluebells. Its a place people rarely go to. There are no new graves, and its always deserted, which means its also a haven for wildflowers, such as the bluebell. At this time of the year, its well worth a visit simply for the flowers.
