Mezzegra

A walk along the Greenway to Tremezzo takes us up the hill and through Mezzegra. The photograph shows a small side street leading off the main road.

On arrival in Tremezzo we found the bar where we were planning to have lunch quite full, even though it was quite late. We hovered around for a bit and after about 15 minutes a table came free. Very nice salad for lunch.

Lots of classic sports cars around today. The Concorso d'Eleganza is on at Cernobbio at the moment.

The weather was good, sunny and not too hot. As we finished lunch the wind got up and it started to cloud over. We decided to take the road train for the return. Very conveniently this stops just in front of the ice cream shop in Lenno.

A pause for an ice cream followed. Less windy here, this corner of the lake must be sheltered from the wind. In the evening we had our first BBQ of the season. Up at the apartment we were less sheltered from the wind, still we managed to get the BBQ lit without difficulty.
